Mr Sayasneh is a consultant surgeon in gynaecology and gynaecological oncology. He has over 20 years of training experience in benign gynaecology and gynaecological oncology from the UK and overseas. He is one of the lead international researchers in gynaecology in general and in gynaecological ultrasonography in particular. He has a long track of publications in the field in high impact journals. He has completed his Medical Doctorate Degree from Imperial College in London and has competed his subspecialty training in advanced cancer surgery from Hammersmith Hospital (Imperial College London). He has as well obtained advanced training certificates ATSMs from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in benign vaginal surgery and in vulval disease from Cambridge University Hospitals. He is a member in the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis Group IOTA, and has participated in the steering committee meetings and has been appointed in the Faculty panel since 2013.
He has been appointed as a Faculty member as well in the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ISUOG. Mr Sayasneh has been a member in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2006 and he is a member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy BSGE, British Gynaecological Cancer Society BGCS, European Society of Gynaecological Oncology ESGO, International Gynecologic Cancer Society IGCS, British Society Of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology BSCCP, The National Cervical Cancer Coalition NCCC, East Anglian Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society EAOGS, and European School of Oncology ESO Club. Mr Sayasneh is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at both Imperial College and King’s College in London, and he is the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Block Lead at the School of Medical Education, King’s College, London.
